Catherine, Princess of Wales, is known for her elegant and sophisticated royal wardrobe, but her sister, Pippa Middleton, is also capable of pulling off her own major fashion statement.
Earlier this week, the younger Middleton sister made a rare red carpet appearance in London at the 2023 Heart Hero Awards, a ceremony hosted by the British Heart Foundation, a charity that researches solutions to cardiovascular diseases.
For the special event, Pippa tapped Self-Portrait, a London-based womenswear brand that happens to be beloved by Kate, too. Pippa’s appropriately festive dress was made of a delicate floral lace pattern in a dark forest green. Its feminine details included a twisted collar, short puff sleeves, a dark ribbon cinching the waist, a ruffled tiered hem, and a midi silhouette. (Kate also often favors the midi dress!) For a touch of modesty, Pippa wore a short nude slip underneath.
She continued to get into the holiday spirit with the rest of her outfit, opting for bright red suede pumps and a matching red clutch. To further accessorize, she wore bedazzled drop earrings.

Kate most recently wore a Self-Portrait look while filming the ITV promo for her forthcoming holiday special, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas. This involved an ivory tweed coat embellished with glittering white sequins and shiny pearls. She continued the winter whites theme by coordinating her accessories via a pretty pair of pearl-encrusted circle earrings.
Though Royal Carols won’t air until December 24, the service is set to be filmed at Westminster Abbey today. At last year’s event, Pippa and mom Carole Middleton showed support for the Princess of Wales by attending the event in matching wine-colored outfits. Time will tell if we’ll get to see another twinning moment later today!
